how do you know someone has nothing worthwhile to do

oh lord forgive me for i have sinned.................. i was in splits when i saw thou 10 commandments for the drivers. Since, Vatican has made it clear that it hates Porche, Ferrari and Lamborghinis of this world (i mean the same place which has harboured vatican) the devil worshippers (read Merc CLK and Bugatti Veyron owners) face a new threat (other than the tree huggers who have been howling for decades against the high emissions) in form of a hostile opinion of old hags (who else cares how people show off their hard earned money) who swear by the declarations from the church.

betting large on technology

technology is changing the rules of the game in a more fundamental way then I could have imagined by myself. Although things are destined to change for better, but what irks me is that, if technology keeps on eliminating the human factor, would we be able to absorb all those rendered useless, let alone others who keep adding to the workforce every year?

a problem in the brewing

arguably islam has the sort of religious tenets which are most vulnerable to be used as tools for preaching extremism and militancy, by radicals and religious fanatics. And when your nation' younger generation subscribes to such an ideology a delicate approach is indeed necessary to take preventive measures. The only problem is how well you understand the situation and its underlying causes.

Green Consumerism: Shooting ourselves in the foot?

How far is our influence on our environment governed by our shopping decisions? A very good discussion on the issue, and why it might not be an open-and-shut case.
